Real golf
A realistic golf game you can play online, free
One Fairway is a realistic golf game you play online, free, in your web browser. Not mini golf and not an arcade: full-length 18-hole courses, a full bag of clubs, real lies, slopes and wind. Play solo or with friends anywhere, on a computer, phone or tablet, with nothing to download.
Real golf, not mini golf
Most golf games you can play in a browser are mini golf: a putter, a windmill and a few walls. One Fairway is the whole game of golf.
- Full-length holes. Par 3s, par 4s and par 5s, from a short iron into a green to a three-shot par 5 that bends round a lake.
- A full bag of 14 clubs. Driver, 3 and 5 wood, a 4 hybrid, 5 to 9 iron, four wedges and a putter. Each club's launch and backspin follow launch-monitor numbers, so a wedge climbs and stops and a driver bores and runs.
- The shot you choose. Full, punch, pitch, chip, flop or putt, each with its own flight and roll.
- Shape the ball. Strike it off-centre for a fade, a draw or more spin.
- Lies that matter. The fairway, the rough, sand and water all play differently. Sand slows the ball; water costs you a stroke.
- Greens you have to read. Every green has slopes, and a putt breaks the way the ground falls. How to read greens.
The swing decides the shot
You aim, choose a club and a shot, then time the swing meter. A pure strike flies the line you chose. Mistime it and the ball leaves that line, just as it would on a real course. New to golf? Until you've timed your first swing, the game helps you strike the ball, so your first shots go somewhere.
Every score is checked: our server replays each shot from its inputs, so a round on One Fairway means the same thing for everyone.
Two real courses
- Stonepine: a mountain course at sunrise, through pines and over a lake. 18 holes, par 72.
- Lantern Point: a links on a headland by the sea, at golden hour. Firm fairways, dunes, stone walls and a lighthouse, with a sea wind of 8 to 22 mph that changes from round to round. 18 holes, par 72.
Both are original courses, designed hole by hole. Read the guides before you play, or just tee off.
Play it your way
- A quick three, nine or eighteen. A quick three is one par 3, one par 4 and one par 5, so you can play a few holes in a few minutes.
- The daily challenge: one hole a day, the same for everyone, one try.
- With friends, in real time: stroke play for up to four, 1v1 match play and 2v2 alternate shot, with handicaps so anyone can play anyone. How playing with friends works.
- Ranked play, 1v1 and 2v2, where every result counts.
On any device, with no download
One Fairway runs in an up-to-date web browser on a Windows PC, a Mac, a Chromebook, a phone or a tablet. Use a mouse or trackpad on a computer, or your finger on a touchscreen. There's no launcher and no install: open the page and play. With a free account your progress is saved, so you can start a round on your computer and finish it on your phone.
Free, and fair
Every hole and every way to play is free. We sell optional items, such as balls, shot tracers and some clubs, for credits, and you can earn credits by playing. Clubs you buy never hit further than the free set, and ranked play matches you with golfers whose bags are close to yours. Skill decides.
